Balancing the worlds of spirit and science is in my nature. As a unique but complementary pairing, they feed one another and effortlessly blend in my life. 

With a degree in clinical pharmacy, I operated for many years believing if you couldn’t put a formula to it, it didn’t exist. My traditional education is grounded in a passion for math and science. My spiritual awareness beyond the formulaic world of math and science emerged when nuns taught me how to analyze dreams and read auras.

I discovered a dream analysis class at a local adult education center taught by a nun at the college. Having grown up Catholic, the class seemed safe to explore. Recalling how my grandmother would gather her friends in the kitchen and do dream analysis, I convinced my mother to go with me. It was a great experience – not too “woo woo” or “out there”. In fact, I still use the method from that class today. 

At the end, our instructor suggested I might consider the upcoming class about reading auras. Taught by…. another nun, Sister Jean. Even though I only understood an aura as something that happened clinically before a seizure, (I loved biology and healing) and just knew I had to be there. 

When Sr. Jean explained aura as energy, I understood instantly. She was speaking to my science trained brain. This was scientific talk – energy, shifting vibration, colors. It all resonated with me and my journey into the realm of spiritual awareness began.

As an eternal learner, I’ve absorbed much information, wisdom, and awareness over the years through apprenticeships, workshops, degrees, and certifications. It is my passion to share with others the teachings that have deepened my spiritual dimension, healing beliefs, and offered portals to expand my creative nature.

It is from this desire to learn and share that Little Aspen Studios came into existence nearly 20 years ago. At Little Aspen Studios, I work with people looking for ways to develop their inner discovery and awareness and how they can uncover ways to bring their gifts and talents out into the world. I offer a variety of classes, events and services designed to inspire the soul, stimulate creativity, and facilitate spiritual growth.

My path frequently crosses with people who are seeking to find a change in themselves. They often express a lack of clarity or focus in their lives and are looking for the next steps to make things “different” in some aspect of their life. This may be relationships, careers, health, wellness, finances, healing – any life domain. They may feel overwhelmed, stuck in a situation, are repeating patterns, and unable to move forward. Sometimes they don’t recognize the pattern they’re repeating, but just know something has to be different in the future. They want a change but aren’t getting it. Despite knowing what they want “it” to be like, “it’s” not that. The change just isn’t coming. They’re looking for deeper guidance to find their flow and make life easier.

All of my training, learning, and experiences converge in my services to offer people an opportunity to experience a shift. I help them open the path to their own inner discovery and have more confidence in what they’re doing. By looking at their gifts, talents, and what they bring to the world, we can apply those strengths to their situation to facilitate movement and change.

I hold the principles of responsibility, trust, and confidentiality as part of my core beliefs. I have a vast array of tools in my toolbox to offer and individualize all of my sessions or programs.
